🔧 Add the right clamp iClip-Grip seats into the hose clamping spiral for the tightest seal on clamp-profile hoses. Worm-Gear is the familiar adjustable jubilee-style band that fits almost any hose. Both are sized to your bore.

Seal your hose properly — sized automatically to match the bore you selected. We’ve added 2 — one for each end of the hose. Adjust if you need more or fewer.

Overview

The Flamex B-F se is a flame-retardant polyurethane extraction hose, built for wood dust and chip extraction in busy workshops. Lightweight, highly flexible and crush-resistant, it links table saws, sanders, planers, thicknessers and CNC routers to your extractor or ducting run — and its clear wall lets you spot blockages and flow at a glance.

Because wood dust is combustible, the wall is flame-retardant to DIN 4102-B1 and the hose is approved to the German wood-trade standard Holz-BG (BGI 739-2). With the embedded steel spiral earthed, it also meets TRGS 727 for the aspirated transport of flammable dusts — the reassurance you want when moving fine timber dust around a workshop.

Constructed as a PU film hose with an embedded spring-steel support coil and a hard-wearing polyester-polyurethane wall (approx. 0.5 mm between the spirals), it runs from -40 °C to +90 °C (short peaks to 125 °C) and compresses roughly 1:4 for easy storage. Available in bore sizes from 38 mm to 400 mm in 10 m and 15 m coils.

Key features

  • Flame-retardant wall to DIN 4102-B1 — suited to combustible wood dust
  • Approved to Holz-BG (BGI 739-2) and TRGS 727 (spiral earthed) for flammable dust extraction
  • Highly abrasion-resistant PU wall — tougher than standard PU per DIN ISO 4649
  • Very flexible, permanently kink-resistant, compressible approx. 1:4
  • Clear wall — see blockages and airflow at a glance
  • Halogen-free and plasticiser-free
  • Good resistance to oil, petrol and chemicals; good UV resistance

Standards & compliance

  • Complies with DIN 26057 Type I
  • Meets the requirements of Holz-BG, BGI 739-2 (wood-trade dust extraction)
  • Flame-retardant wall to DIN 4102-B1
  • In accordance with TRGS 727, suitable for the aspirated transport of flammable bulk materials and dusts when the wire spiral is earthed
  • Suitable per TRGS where only low dust levels occur inside the assembly, so hazardous explosive dust atmospheres are expected rarely and briefly (Zone 22)
  • With the wire spiral earthed, suitable for the pneumatic conveyance of non-combustible bulk materials through Zone 1 (explosion groups IIA and IIB)

Note: ATEX / explosion-zone suitability must always be assessed for your specific installation by the operator.

Typical applications

Woodworking and joinery dust & chip extraction, Agriculture, Automotive, Plant & Mechanical Engineering, General Industry, Ventilation & Air-conditioning, Bulk & Construction, Chemistry, Food & Pharma, Waste Disposal & Cleaning Technology, Plastics, Conveying & feeding technology, Textile, Printing & Paper, Metal & Toolmaking.

Wood dust & chip extraction

Light enough to reposition all day, flexible enough for tight machine hook-ups, and rated for the fine, combustible dust that timber, MDF and plywood throw off. It connects to most woodworking machines — including table saws, bandsaws, planer-thicknessers, spindle moulders, drum and belt sanders, CNC routers and downdraft benches — or runs as flexible extraction ducting between machines and a central extractor or dust collector. The abrasion-resistant wall shrugs off the shavings and grit that wear out cheaper hose, and earthing the spiral keeps static under control on fine-dust runs.

Frequently asked questions

Yes — it’s the natural choice for it. The wall is flame-retardant to DIN 4102-B1, the hose is approved to Holz-BG (BGI 739-2), and with the steel spiral earthed it meets TRGS 727 for extracting flammable dusts.
-40 °C to +90 °C, with short-term peaks to 125 °C. Confirm your medium and pressure for continuous high-temperature use.
Bore sizes run from 38 mm to 400 mm, in 10 m and 15 m coils.
Both work — the Clip-Grip locks into the clamping spiral for the tightest hold; the Worm-Gear clamp fits almost any hose. Match the clamp size to your bore.
